1 Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 The Chair welcomed the Members to the meeting and noted Rhys ab Owen MS’s election to the Committee on 10 May in place of Cefin Campbell MS.
1.2 Apologies were received from Rhys ab Owen MS and Rhianon Passmore MS. Peredur Owen Griffiths MS attended as a substitute for Rhys ab Owen MS.
2 Care Home Commissioning for Older People: Evidence Session 3
2.1 The Committee received evidence from Maria Bell from the Welsh Local Government Association and Dave Street from the Association of Directors of Social Services.
3 Care Home Commissioning for Older People: Evidence Session 4
3.1 The Committee received evidence from Helena Herklots, the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales.
3.2 After question one the Chair temporarily left the meeting. The Clerk asked for nominations for a temporary Chair under SO 17.22. Peredur Owen Griffiths MS nominated Natasha Asghar MS, which was endorsed by the Committee.
4 Scrutiny of public administration: Evidence session
4.1 The Committee received evidence from Dr Andrew Goodall, Permanent Secretary as part of its Scrutiny of Public Administration.
